FAQ

1. What kinds of businesses do you work with?
I work with established, growth-minded companies between $2M–$50M in annual revenue. I partner with founders and owners who are ready to scale, build aligned teams, and prepare for growth or transition. My ideal clients are leaders who are eager to learn, open to change, and willing to be real about challenges. They care deeply about accountability, results, and creating a company culture that supports growth. Clients span professional services, construction, and technology sectors predominantly in Western Canada.

2. How is business growth coaching different from consulting?
Consultants often deliver recommendations and move on. Business growth coaching is different — it’s collaborative, hands-on, and built for long-term change. I work alongside your leadership team to implement proven frameworks like Scaling Up, EOS, and The Value Builder System™, focusing on the four key decisions that drive growth — People, Strategy, Execution, and Cash. The goal is lasting transformation: a clear direction, a stronger team, and measurable results that elevate business performance and value.

3. What problems do you help business owners solve?
I help owners who feel stuck, stretched, or too involved in day-to-day operations. Common challenges include lack of focus, unclear strategy, weak accountability, and poor communication or cash flow. Through structured business coaching and strategic planning, we create clarity, alignment, and repeatable systems for growth. Whether you’re scaling or preparing for exit, my role is to help you move from firefighting to forward-thinking, building a company that thrives with or without you.
-
4. How do I know if my business is ready for exit planning or value acceleration?
If your business relies heavily on you, it’s time to start preparing — even if you’re not ready to sell. Exit readiness is about building a company that runs without you and commands a premium valuation when you do decide to transition. It typically takes 2–3 years to prepare a business for a successful exit. Using The Value Builder System™ and Scaling Up tools, we assess your company’s value drivers, identify gaps, and put in place a clear roadmap to increase both freedom and enterprise value.

5. Do you work in person or virtually?
Both. I work with clients across Western Canada through a mix of virtual coaching and in-person strategic planning sessions. Many clients prefer a hybrid approach — virtual for ongoing rhythm and accountability, and in-person for deeper annual or quarterly strategy sessions that spark alignment, energy, and focus.
-
6. How long does it take to see results?
Most clients experience immediate clarity after our first strategic session. Within 90 days, you’ll notice stronger alignment, accountability, and progress toward your goals. Realizing the full benefit of growth coaching is often a multi-year journey — typically three years or more of continuous improvement and disciplined execution. Like anything in business, you get out what you put in.
-
7. How much does it cost to work with you?
Coaching is an investment — not an expense — and the return is measurable. My clients typically see results such as 2x revenue growth, 3x profit, and up to 10x increase in business value with a long-term commitment to the methodology. Programs are customized to your goals, team size, and growth stage. The best way to understand fit and investment level is through a discovery call.
-
8. What can I expect in a discovery call?
We’ll talk about your goals, challenges, and where you want the business to be in the next 12–36 months. I’ll share how MC² Coaching helps owners and leadership teams gain clarity, alignment, and results that last — whether through business growth coaching, strategic planning, or exit readiness. It’s an open, no-pressure conversation designed to explore if this is the right next step for your company.
